Nigerian Female players gets individual honours at World chess Olympiads 2014
The Nigerian Female chess team has given Fans many reasons to celebrate ahead of the last match of the 4th largest sporting event in Norway, at the 41st world chess Olympiads in Tromso Norway. Three members of the Female team Rabiu, Olabisi, Enarevba, Mandy- soyoye and Aramude, Sandra has bagged the WOMEN CANDIDATE MASTER TITLE (WCM) , The Team is presently at the top of their group and are set to win the group prize if they can beat Team Botswana in the last round of the event, this appears to be a very tough task on paper but if the girls can maintain their focus and recent form, the Nigerian team can pick the match point and top the group to win as a team as well which is quite possible, the more the margin of victory the better.
Three players awarded the WCM title
WCM Enarevba Mandy
WCM Rabiu Olabisi
WCM Aramude Sandra
