FIDE Online Chess arena and the poor internet Challenges for African Countries

 
The World governing body for Chess, FIDE has introduced an online platform why Chess players can play and get FIDE Online rating and enjoy the Royal game with People around the world and for those with a  Profile page on the FIDE official website, their Online rating is reflected on their profile, there are other incentives too like getting the AGM  Arena Grand Master Title, AIm Arena International Master title and ACM Arena candidate Master title. Full membership is 25 Euros per year , but there is a Promo at the moment that allows new members with Official FIDE ID get full membership till May 31st 2015. Two  Members of FIDE online Arena could also play at the FIDE World cup by qualifying directly from the FIDE ONLINE ARENA. FIDE will announce the modalities for this very soon.
 The challenges players from Nigeria and some other African countries are facing is lack of very fast /good internet network, this can result in losing many games online to weaker players with faster internet from other countries.
  Cheating is also controlled by special Technology that could detected if a player is using a Chess Engine /computer  assistance.
