Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) sets new deadline for BVN , now October 31, 2015

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in conjunction with the Bankers Committee  launched the Biometric Identification Project to provide a single biometric database for all banks’ customers nationwide. Part of the requirements within this initiative is that customers enroll with their banks to get their unique Bank Verification Numbers (BVN), without which customers will not be able to transact in any bank after the  deadline as announced by CBN on or before June 30, 2015. but the deadline for BVN enrollment by banks' customers is October 31, 2015 and customers are adviced to avoid  last minute rush by visiting their banks as soon as possible to register  for everything you need to know about the BVN number click on All You Need To Know About Bank Verification Number (Nigeria)
