The Benin city chess tournament tagged the Oba's Cup 2014(FIDE RATED) has been announced ,the Tournament has been fixed for . : 15th - 19th December, 
Venue: Indoor Sports Hall, Sam Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City, Edo State.
Prizes : Masters: N80,000, N40,000, N20,000, N15,000, N10,000.
 Amateur: N40,000, N20,000, N15,000, N10,000, N5,000.
 Ladies: N20,000, N10,000, N5,000.

 Registration: Masters: N2,000
,Amateur: N1,500,
 Ladies: N1,500. 
Under 16 - N700
Under 14,10 & 5 - N500
Note- FIDE rated players playing in the Masters Category will 20% off on Registration fee
Time Control: 1hr,30mins for 40moves+30mins to finish + 30 secs bonus added from first move.  Tournament will be FIDE RATED
