The 37th Nigerian Breweries National chess Open Championship has been fixed for 15th - 20th October 2014 at the sir Molade Okoya indoor Sports Hall of the Teslim Balogun stadium , Surulere Lagos State.
Individuals, State Chess teams and affiliated chess clubs are invited to participate at this event.
The playing Categories and entry fees are as follows:
CATEGORIES ENTRY FEES
1 Masters Category =N= 3,500.00
2 OPEN =N= 2,500.00
3.Amateur =N= 1,500.00
4.Ladies =N=1,500.00
5. Under 14 Boys and girls =N= 750.00
Note- All Ladies entered in the tournament will play in the Open and amateur categories according to their rated strength, but will receive their prizes as a separate category.
Competition Venue- Indoor Sports Hall, Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere Lagos.

Arrival- Wednesday 15th, October 2014
Competition- 16th - 19th October 2014
Time 9 A.M daily
Closing Ceremony - 4PM 19th October , 2014
Departure- 20th October 2014.
NOTE-
All participants shall be responsible for their transportation, feeding ,accommodation and other welfare during the Championship., participants are expected to come to the tournament with their Chess materials- Chess clocks and chess sets
